Finder of the Fair reporting for duty

1954 gramophone on sale with It’s a Wind Up

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to be asked to be (OK, OK, I actually badgered them into it) finder of the fair for the Vintage Village in Stockport. I love the Vintage Village lots and lots. It’s in a historic market hall, and the usual stalls are all closed up as it’s Sunday and instead in front of them are 50-60 vintage and handmade traders. It’s always busy, always bustling and there’s always a good atmosphere there.

Anyway, the idea behind being the finder is that you wander around the market and take photos of, and write about, the best stuff that you come across. It’s beautifully simple and I had a blast doing it. You can read about my finds here and if you head to the Vintage Village site then you’ll still find all of the past finds to date there too.
